Alexandra Stinson – M.Sc. Candidate
Alexandra is an MSc student in the School of Environmental Science, having previously earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at the University of Guelph in 2016. Her current research is focused on improving current pest management for carrot insect pests through the enhancement of beneficial insect populations at the Holland Marsh. During her undergraduate degree, she completed four co-op work terms, including a semester working at the Muck Crops Research Station in the Holland Marsh where she discovered her interest in working in plant science and entomology. She hopes to someday use her research to help find sustainable solutions to local growers' insect pest problems."
